The community reports

Men are reporting changes in length and girth. What are their stories?

Some men report a quarter-inch increase. Others report half an inch, a full inch, or more. Their stories span manual stretching, jelqing, traction and pumps. What did they try, and what did they notice?

On Thunder's Place alone, the forum lists over 6,000 progress-report threads. Across those discussions, r/gettingbigger, r/AJelqForYou and other communities, men describe changes in length, girth and erection fullness they attribute to different techniques. Some describe an inch or more, although those larger reports often involve several methods and are not independently verified. The details are worth exploring.

A personal note from Coach Tee: I've experienced changes in my own length and girth through training. That firsthand experience is one reason I wanted to explore the stories men share and build a more organized way to track personal progress. My experience is my own; yours may be different.

Explore the claims for yourself: Every measurement on this page comes from a person's report or a published interview. Follow the original links to see the methods, timelines and updates. These are experiences, not guaranteed results.

1. Why these communities get so much attention

Picture someone posting his starting measurement, disappearing into a training log for months, and returning with a larger number. The first question is obvious: What did he do? Then come the better questions. Did he measure the same way? Was his erection firmness different? Did the change last when he took time off?

Men in these communities discuss traction devices, pumps, manual stretching, jelqing and other forms of mechanical loading. Some log measurements for years. Others are looking for their first sign of progress. Their stories are worth exploring as experiences, with enough context to see what each person is actually claiming.

Follow the story, not just the biggest number

Principle
A progress report becomes more useful when the starting point, timeline, methods, measurements and follow-up appear together.
Why it matters
One impressive number can catch your attention. A dated log helps you understand how the person arrived there and what may have changed.
Real-life example
Two men can report the same half-inch gain while one is describing an erect measurement and the other is describing stretched or temporary post-pump size.
What to do
Open the original post before forming an opinion. Look for updates, questions from other members, and any corrections made later.

2. The numbers men are putting into their progress logs

These examples span different techniques and lengths of time. The numbers are presented exactly as self-reported or described in published interviews. The story attached to each one matters.

6 → 7 in.

A reported inch over ten months

In a GQ interview, a member said he began in September 2024 and recorded a length change from six to seven inches over ten months. He described combining stretching with a pump and keeping monthly notes. It's an interview about his experience, without independent measurement verification.

A manual-training update

A member posting as seep recorded a starting bone-pressed erect length around 6.4 inches and later wrote that he measured 6.8. He also openly questioned whether earlier measurements were taken correctly. That detail makes his log worth reading in full.

Length and girth in the same journal

One contributor reported bone-pressed erect length rising from 6.25 to 6.8 inches and girth from 4.75 to 4.95 over roughly four months. The contributor used multiple approaches, so the story cannot tell us which part mattered most.

Under 6 → over 8 in.

One member's decade-long account

A longtime member said he began below six inches and later measured between 8.25 and 8.5. He attributed different stages of his experience to different methods and described setbacks and injuries along the way. His account does not provide a controlled comparison or independently confirmed measurements.

Anecdotal outcomes and time frames vary. These selected reports cannot establish success rates or determine whether a particular technique caused the change.

3. Length: what men say changed over time

Length-focused discussions often mention manual stretching, traction devices and other stretching equipment. The reports can be surprisingly specific about dates, measurements and plateaus. They also use different measurements, including bone-pressed erect length (BPEL) and bone-pressed flaccid stretched length (BPFSL).

A five-month report: A Thunder's Place contributor said he gained around 3 cm in length and about 0.6 cm in girth, while explaining that some initial improvement may have reflected better erection quality. Explore the journal.

A different seven-to-eight-month story: A member responding in a Thunder's Place discussion reported about 0.3 inches of additional stretched length, with no increase in non-bone-pressed erect length at the time of posting. Read the discussion.

For anyone interested in these stories, the question worth keeping in mind is simple: which measurement changed, and was that change still there at follow-up?

4. Girth: the pump stories are especially interesting

Some pump users describe fuller erections and circumference changes. Others talk about changes that were noticeable right after pumping and disappeared after a break. Both experiences appear in the same communities.

Reddit, January 2026

+0.5 in. girth

A gain reported after nine days off

One r/PenisPumpResults member said he measured at least half an inch more girth and between half and three-quarters of an inch more length after nearly a year of pumping. He reported taking about nine days off before measuring, then asked other users whether the change would last longer.

+0.2 → baseline girth

A change that faded after a break

Another member reported going from 4.0 to 4.2 inches in girth over three months, then returning to 4.0 after one week without pumping. He continued asking how lasting girth changes might work. His experience is a useful contrast with the report beside it.

These accounts invite an important distinction: the measurement immediately after an activity, the measurement during a break, and the measurement maintained months later can tell different stories.

5. Manual exercises: why some men keep coming back to them

Manual stretching, directional pulls, V-stretch, wet jelq and uli are recurring topics in progress journals. Men describe length and girth changes they associate with hands-on training, sometimes before they ever try a device. What makes these accounts interesting is the range of experiences and the willingness of some members to document their measurements over months or years.

+0.25 in. girth

Three months of manuals

A member posting as kickinthemebs reported a quarter-inch girth gain during his first three months of manual exercises, followed by a long plateau. It is a specific firsthand report, with the change and timeline stated together.

Thunder's Place, multi-year journal

+0.5 in. length

What he credited to his first year

A contributor posting as LittleEngine attributed about half an inch of length and a quarter-inch of girth in his first year mainly to manual jelqing, with some pump use. He later described another half-inch of length alongside extender use and other methods. His own breakdown separates the stages of his journey.

Other men report even larger changes. This long-running Reddit account describes a change of more than an inch over years of experimentation. The poster tried multiple techniques, so it should be read as his overall journey rather than proof that one exercise produced the result. Another Thunder's Place member logged progress while practicing a beginner manual routine.

Different routines apply different forces to sensitive tissue. If you decide to explore them, understanding the technique and its warning signs matters. The Research Lab explains the mechanics, claims and risks; the app includes optional guided manual routines with readiness and recovery tools.

6. The question behind every impressive before-and-after

Suppose someone posts a half-inch gain. You want to know more. Was he measuring erect length or stretched length? Did he change several techniques at once? Did he return with an update after a month away? A report with those details tells you far more than a cropped measurement photo.

Look for the follow-up

Principle
Compare the first measurement, the latest measurement and the update after time away whenever the poster provides all three.
Why it matters
It keeps a temporary change, a stronger erection and a longer-term measurement from being treated as the same outcome.
Real life
The two pumping reports above describe different experiences after a break. The follow-up is the detail that makes them worth comparing.
Application
Use the original links to read the thread and any later replies, including doubts raised by the poster and other community members.

7. Try this free seven-day starting-point check

Before changing anything, learn what your usual baseline looks like. This exercise is free, uses ordinary observation, and does not require a training routine.

  1. Pick your actual goal. Name the thing you care about: length, circumference, erection firmness, or confidence.
  2. Note your baseline. If you already measure, stick with the same method, position and conditions. Avoid compulsive checking.
  3. Track your everyday context. For seven days, note sleep, stress, erection quality, energy and any discomfort.
  4. Compare like with like. An erect measurement, stretched measurement and post-pump measurement should never be placed in the same trend.
  5. Review the pattern. Decide whether the next question is about a size measurement, changing erection quality, or a new anatomical symptom that deserves professional evaluation.
The one to remember

The number catches your eye. The timeline, measurement method and follow-up tell you what the story is actually about.

8. Protect your sexual function while you explore

Curiosity deserves good information. Whatever method interests you, protecting erection quality and paying attention to your body's response are part of making an informed choice. Mechanical training can cause injury, including when someone believes they are being careful.

When to stop and seek help

Stop mechanical activity and seek medical evaluation for pain, numbness, bruising, swelling, a new lump or curvature, an hourglass shape, loss of sensation or worsening erections. Difficulty urinating requires assessment. An erection lasting more than four hours is a medical emergency.

Penile tissue contains blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue, so pressure and stretching have real limits. Anyone with a previous injury, a bleeding condition or ongoing erection problems should speak with a qualified urologist before trying mechanical training. Pain and numbness are reasons to stop, not signs of progress.

9. Keep your own progress in perspective

Curious to explore manual length or girth exercises for yourself? They're included as optional guided routines inside The Blueprint. You can select your focus, follow the app's readiness and recovery guidance, and track length, girth and erection quality over time. The system keeps your training and personal measurements in one place.

Community results vary, and the app does not promise a particular number of inches. It is an educational training and tracking tool, not a medical treatment. The choice to explore manual training is yours.
